Try this meatball, mozzarella, marinara stuffed puff pastry mummy for Halloween


Get festive with your food this Halloween with this easy appetizer platter of meatballs and marinara.

Food creator and recipe developer Diane Morrissey shared her recipe for the simple dish, which uses frozen puff pastry and other easy and affordable ingredients.

“I used to be an art teacher, and I always said my creativity stems from food,” Morrissey told Good Morning America. “It’s never been more the case than during the holidays.”

“It’s easy to put together recipes, just like this mummy meatball, which is sure to bring a smile to people’s faces, will definitely be the highlight of Halloween night,” she added.

Easily shape the meatball mummy by placing cheese sauce and meatballs down the center and wrapping the sides in a crisscross pattern.

Brush with egg powder (1 beaten egg + 1 tablespoon water).

Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes or until golden.

Chop them up and dip them in extra marinara!
