Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Mission 7 Campaign – CloseAir Guide
Close Air is the seventh mission in the developed game Infinity Ward and takes place in Las Almas, Mexico. This is the first time that players get a look at Phillip Graves and the Shadow Company, as the mission begins with Graves informing General Shepherd of the whereabouts of Qatala leader Hassan Zayani. Graves then asked General Shepherd to provide air support to Task Force 141.
The main objective of this mission is to assist Team 141 in their pursuit of Hassan.
Mission accomplished
You begin by finding the ghost and his team using thermal vision. They will be near the fold on the very right side. They will be friendly, so check for blinking signs to identify them.
Ghost will let you know when the stables truck leaves. Keep following the car until it stops. After that, you will be asked to survey the greenhouse. Once you are done with that, you can start eliminating all the enemies using weapons. To reduce the spread of damage, be sure to use a 25mm pistol. It must not target civilians or any nearby buildings.
The ground crew will advance to the stables once you have cleared the area. You can engage any hostile personnel nearby once the woman carrying the infant has left the area.
Team 141 will now make their way to the greenhouse. Here, use 25mm again to eliminate enemies. Do not target the building, only the militants outside. It may help if you use “normal mode” now to inspect inside the greenhouse. Once you make sure Hassan is not inside, use the LTM to demolish the entire greenhouse.
There will be more enemies attacking you. Keep killing them. The ground team will then advance on the way to the large complex. To open the hatches and let your troops in, use 40mm here.
Eliminate all cartel members from the yard. However, avoid attacking structures. Ghost and his colleagues will now locate Hassan within a building. Continue providing them with air support as they get Hassan out of the area and drive away.
