Upgrading your cards does not increase their energy level nor decrease their energy cost. So, you might be wondering why should I upgrade my cards if they aren’t stronger or do anything different. Well, there are multiple advantages of upgrading cards.

Upgrade cards allow you to change the visual appearance of the cards and add effects to them as well. Looks aside, each upgrade gives you more collecting levels and requires more boosters and credits to upgrade.

Attainment levels offer you a wide range of rewards. You can get new cards and different types of cards you already have. You can also get boosters and credits to upgrade your card, which in turn will give you more attainment levels.

Upgrade costs

As mentioned earlier, all cards require boosters and credits to upgrade but the amount you request changes with each upgrade. So as you advance in the upgrades, it will take longer and also cost you a bit extra.

You can buy quick upgrades from the store although we don’t recommend it as it is too expensive. Credits are abundant in the game but you need a large amount to upgrade all your cards. Here’s how much each upgrade will cost you.

• Uncommon from Common will cost you 25 Credits
• Rare Uncommon will cost you 100 Credits
• Epic from Rare will cost you 200 Credits
• Epic Legend will cost you 300 credits
• Ultra from Legendary will cost you 400 credits
• Infinite from Legendary will cost you 400 Credits
• Express upgrades cost 5 credits for each lost booster and upgrade cost.

The second thing you need to gain along with the credits are the boosts. Reinforcements are randomly distributed to any card you have and you can get 6 boosters from every match you play. You can also get boosters from collecting levels, which are mostly 5 and also assigned to a random card. Now, that’s a good amount of boosts but not being able to pick which card they go for quite a bit.

Just because you have the boosters to upgrade the card doesn’t mean you have to upgrade it right away. Your first focus should be to upgrade all cards from common to uncommon. Upgrading to Uncommon gives you the most credits attainment levels.

• Epic Cards give you four levels to collect.
• Legendary cards give you six collecting levels.
• Ultra cards give you eight collection levels.

Fixed Rewards

When you first start the game, you will receive Jessica Jones in the first upgrade and you will have to add her to your collection in the tutorial.
