Gigabyte AORUS Gen4 5000E SSD: High performance, low consumption

With the Gigabyte AORUS Gen4 5000E SSD, the manufacturer introduced a new PCIe 4.0 SSD that features particularly high performance, low consumption and long durability.

Gigabyte AORUS Gen4 5000E SSD in Detail

Following the race-fast Gigabyte AORUS Gen5 10000 SSD with PCIe-5 connectivity in August, the manufacturer has now introduced the new PCIe 4.0 SSD. The Gigabyte AORUS Gen4 5000E SSD comes with a capacity of 500GB and 1TB and offers read speeds of up to 5000MB/s.

Besides high speed, the new M.2 SSD model also features 30 percent lower power consumption. At the same time, the AORUS Gen4 5000E has undergone numerous performance and stability tests to ensure performance is maintained even under load.

The AORUS Gen4 5000E SSD is available with storage capacities: 1000GB and 500GB. Featuring a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe 1.4, 2280 M.2 and 3D TLC NAND Flash design, it delivers transfer speeds of up to 1600 million bps and 5000 MB/s read or 4600 MB/s write.

1.5 million hours MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and 20MW idle power consumption are in the SSD Books.

Cooperation with Thermal Guard technology for motherboards from Gigabyte will be especially interesting, because in combination with the new SSD, the duo achieves the highest possible speeds with convincing cooling.

In addition, TRIM & SMART technology ensures improved stability and longevity, while HMB (Host Memory Buffer) allows system memory to work optimally with SSDs to increase overall performance.

Prices and availability
