Real name Angelina Jolie Voight, American actress and director Angelina Jolie was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 4, 1975. She is known for her humanitarian activities and her intense attraction to men. She won an Academy Award for her supporting role as a mentally ill patient in Girl, Interrupt (1999). Daughter of actor Jon Voight, Jolie spent most of her childhood in New York before moving to Los Angeles at the age of eleven. She spent two years studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Theater and Film before enrolling in Beverly Hills High School. Later, she enrolled at New York University to study acting. She has worked in modeling and starred in music videos as well as acting in stage shows.

Angelina Jolie is experimenting with a new beauty. The new solo director was filmed in New York City sporting sexy winged liner, her typical glossy blowout, and perfect skin, just two months after the mom-of-six debuted. While the dramatic cat eye isn’t new (many timeless icons before it made liner an overrated part of their daily routine), Jolie has long favored styling she wants, so this is a bit of a departure. A few days after author Loung Ung’s novel during the Cambodian and Vietnam War received a Golden Globe nomination, Jolie was in town to participate on behalf of her recently released Netflix movie First They Killed My Father. Julie advised young women in the audience at 92nd Street Y about the value of knowledge and travel.

With her glowing skin on display, it’s safe to assume that the art flick only fueled the important debate and left passersby in awe of her inherent beauty and grace. We can only hope that Jolie arrives at the awards show with a peony-colored lip to match her new winter look.
