Among Us meme art tutorials are actually pretty useful

Over the past week or so, you may have missed a few Between Us art tutorial memes during the tours, where people have been drawing famous Among Us crewmates and using this baseline to create any number of detailed images. While the multiplayer game is famous for its memes, this one has taken a new turn recently with the meme art lessons between us.

If you missed it, here’s how it goes. Step 1: Draw a character between us. Step 2: Turn it into something else entirely. Step Three: Profit. While this sounds like a joke (and it is), it’s oddly interesting to see how the shape of crew members can actually be implanted among us in various designs and drawings, and provide some sort of help with your art projects.

According to Know Your Meme, it all started in September when someone on Twitter tried out the iris-drawing technique as a teammate between us, and to our surprise (and I presume everyone) it looked accurate and well done.

Next thing you know though, our meme art tutorials turned towards other parts of the body, with my favorite being a very detailed drawing of water that stems from just drawing some basic outlines of the crew members on a blue background.

If you want to get in on the action yourself, here’s how to do it: Draw some basic American crew members on a blue background, roughly fill the outline, convert and copy the white layer to a darker layer below, and set the shadow’s opacity to the darkest outline, and you may I finished. You can check out the full images and proof on Reddit as well.

In fact, InnerSloth developer InnerSloth’s official Twitter account recently acknowledged the trend, with a tweet showing cells made of crew members amongst us, which you can see below.
