We’re Improving RDU’s Parking Experience; Let Me Know What You Think

You park at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) for a variety of reasons. It could be for a business trip, a much-needed weekend escape or for a long-awaited vacation with friends or family. Whatever the reason, it’s my desire that you have the best parking experience possible.

Parking Entry

ParkRDU launched April 4.

That’s why we’ve implemented our new parking program, ParkRDU.

ParkRDU launched yesterday and our online parking booking tool launches May 1. ParkRDU is the result of feedback from customers like you and years of careful study and planning for the future use of our facilities.

As our region grows and more people depend on RDU for travel, it’s our priority to ensure customers have a great experience every time – regardless of volume. And, scrambling to find a place to park should be the least of our customers’ concerns.

Through ParkRDU, we now offer three distinct parking options and allow customers to choose how they park based on convenience, location and cost. Our online booking tool will allow you to plan ahead and remove the stress of wondering whether your desired lot will be full upon arrival.

To further support the program, we’ve hired additional staff to focus on customer service and ensure that it’s easier for customers to get in and out of our parking facilities and on to their next destination.

As with any change, I’m sure there will be questions, comments and concerns. We want to hear about your parking experience in real time so that we can continue to improve our offerings. I encourage you to share your experience with us.

Please visit www.parkrdu.com to learn more about our new offerings and follow us on Twitter for updates on parking facility status and more.

Thank you for choosing RDU.

Last Wednesday the garage was closed and extremely poor signage caused us to circle the airport 3x to find the park & ride lot #3. What a disaster!

Time to start using a cab….

  2. Michael Procino says:

You need to take a lesson from the Richmond airport and offer valet parking.
