The building will be designed to accommodate the airport’s status as a hub and be flexible to respond to aviation changes in the future. It’s expected to be complete in 2019. Check out the project.

Ground Transit Options Grow at Dulles and DFW

Metrorail service is a bit closer to reaching Washington-Dulles International Airport with the recent opening of the first phase of the Silver Line. Traveling to IAD from RDU? You can reach Metrorail with new Silver Line Express Bus Service from Door 4 on the Arrivals Level at the airport to the new Wiehle-Reston East Station. From there, connect seamlessly to the rest of Washington’s metro system.

Down at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport, Dallas Area Rapid Transit will connect to the airport’s Terminal A thanks to the opening of a new 4.7-mile extension of the system. The new rapid transit system will directly connect the region’s major airport to the center of Dallas and allow passengers to travel seamlessly throughout the region.
